Londra poi Istanbul, queste le prime conquiste della strategia digitale di Bologna Welcome per promuovere la nostra città. Dopo un anno circa di attività, fa il punto aul nostro lavoro il sito Digital Tourism, think thank e osservatorio internazionale dedicato al turismo.
“With a large number of consumers browsing the web and getting inspired for travel through their social networks, Bologna Welcome is now taking advantage of social networks. Instead of using bloggers, Bologna Welcome decided to use “ordinary” travellers.
These social network users have often quite a large pool of friends and followers, meaning that users can spread the word and share their experiences through sharing content about Bologna. Taking advantage of using social media addicted users was seen as a major advantage for the overall campaign.
